Krista Power Wissink is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who graduated from Victoria’s West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in 2019. Prior to graduating, Krista has worked in massage therapy positions varying from a Victoria based chiropractic clinic, out of her home, and at Poets Cove Spa. She feels that her combination of clinic and wellness positions has led her to have proficient knowledge and awareness of the body’s movement, movement patterns, imbalances, and areas that hold tension.
She looks forward to developing her practice in Victoria and currently on Pender Island.
Krista has a background in exercise programs and leadership for 10+ years and continues developing and executing programs presently. She is certified for fitness, personal training, spin, yoga and others with the AFLCA, which is a partner of the NFLA. Her strength is in identifying goals and obstacles that her clients face and ensuring that they find the way to get the best results as quickly as possible.
She plans to offer a wide variety of services, including ways which she can help clients with the success of their homecare, either constructed by herself or other practitioners; in addition to providing clients with constructive relaxation or therapeutic massage to enable both body and mind to unwind.
Krista has worked with First Responders, mothers (pregnant or post-partum), youth, amputees, cancer patients and survivors, older adults and the general public. She believes in the power of communication, offering empathy and compassion to any client she has the privilege to work with.
