Hailey McCloskey graduated from Okanagan Valley School of Massage Therapy in July 2022. She comes to the practice of massage therapy with a lifelong passion for holistic health. Hailey enjoys using a variety of different techniques like Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular techniques, and Swedish Massage to work with clients on their road to enhanced mobility and recovery from injury and pain. She believes in the life transforming capacity that comes with increased mobility and embodiment.
Prior to becoming an RMT, Hailey received formal training at the School of Toronto Dance and the University of British Columbia (B.A. Majoring in Anthropology). She relocated to Kelowna in 2020 after a career as a professional dance artist, primarily working in social and community engagement. In her time as a dance artist, she trained in movement modalities such as developmental movement patterning (Body Mind Centering), contact improvisation, and yoga. She allows these practices to inform a client centered practice of care, with a creative and compassionate approach to dealing with pain. In her free time, Hailey loves to dance as well as hike, cycle, swim, and write.
